ARGON FERROTEC(pty)ltd was founded in early 2017 to fill a gap in the industry with a market leading concept in machine and factory maintenance.
The Director, Johan Grabe has 7 years' experience in maintenance, design, building and steel work. He is also the founder of ARGON FERROTEC. Going through the ranks and honing he's trade while working for companies like, NETT ENERGY and AFRICA ROLL FORMING among others, he became aware of the need for a specialized maintenance concept. Many companies place maintenance on the bottom of the list due to the high cost involved to have a maintenance team consisting of millwright's, electricians, machinists, engineers, boilermakers and so on. These disciplines have their roll in machine maintenance but they apply their skill and knowledge for a partial time and are a great expense on the payroll. ARGON FERROTEC eliminates or greatly reduce the need for this as we have access to a wide range of professional and highly skilled people who are experts in their fields, thus eliminating the need for a dedicated team as we are but a phone call away.

ARGON FERROTEC DESIGN Having been in the industry for a long time and holding a Higher diploma in mechanical engineering (NQF7), Johan and he's team are well placed to do alterations, modifications, automations and draugting on mechanical machines. Sometimes a small alteration can greatly improve production, increase revenue and often exceeds the cost of the alteration after the first few months adding to the bottom line. We also design new machines or addition to existing machines to assist in production.
ARGON FERROTEC MANUFACTURE Through years in the field we have built up a vast network of suppliers in all areas of business that can assist us where ever needed with big scale manufacturing as well as hydraulic and electrical ( PLC and motion control) systems to enable us to handle any situation , big or small.
ARGON FERROTEC WELDING ARGON is the shielding gas used for TIG welding and it was therefore appropriate to incorporate it into our name. With a range of machines to our disposal to handle TIG, MIG and MMA welding projects big and small. ARGON FERROTEC has the capacity to weld Mild steel, hardened steel, Stainless steel and aluminum. Our manufacturing and welding can be found at Gold reef city, Government press and Sun Ace to name a few.
ARGON FERROTEC DRAUGHTING At ARGONN FERROTEC we have access to draughtsman that can draught and set in 3D a complete picture of what the client need, so they will have a clear picture of what we are working with before we put tool to steel. It aids in a mutual understanding between us and the customer and eliminates reworks and miss understanding.
ARGON FERROTEC AGRICULTURE The founder, being born and raised on a farm and spent 10 years in the agricultural sector has a sound knowledge of what is required from an engineering perspective to solve the problems in agriculture. Farming is a ever changing landscape and we have the back ground and heart to understand this and evolve with agriculture to supply the best possible solutions. We understand that farming is the backbone and bread basket of this country and we strive to assist the farmers to help them as best we can.
